Max began exploring his artistic abilities in January 2021. After his schoolteacher, Mr. B introduced him to art tutorials on YouTube, he began practicing regularly. After a few months of watching tutorials, Max has started leaning into his own art style.
Max uses acrylic, pastels, and his favourite – watercolours in his paintings. Max loves making up new characters and painting self-portraits with people in his life he loves and draws on inspiration from Picasso in his art.

Max’s Children's Aid Foundation Art Auction
Max has become a veteran at raising money for the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada. He continues to use his talents to support children and families involved in child welfare.
Max hosted an art auction in October 2021 in support of children and youth involved in Canada’s child welfare system.
